Spindleworks and Arts Are Elementary present the 3rd Annual All Species Parade, followed by A Natural Order, an exhibit celebrating the diversity of living species.
The public is invited to watch or join in the parade which will start on the Brunswick Town Mall. Costumes and puppets representing real species (from frog or bird, to flower or elephant!) are welcome for this colorful celebration of our living planet.
Folks of all ages and walks of life are encouraged to participate. The only rules are:
  1.  No motorized vehicles,
  2. No banners or words and please:
  3. No live animals (leave Fido at home!).
Music is also a welcome addition to parade. Interested participants and onlookers should gather at 4:00 on the Town Mall for a 4:30 start.
The parade will process down Maine Street towards the river, take a right on Bank street, another right on Federal and back to the Mall via School Street (lasting approximately ½ hour-45 minutes).
After the parade, please join Spindleworks and Arts Are Elementary at Frontier Café during the first ArtWalk of the season to celebrate the opening of A Natural Order.
This exhibit which will feature artists from Maine and beyond is a fundraiser for the Coastal Humane Society. 20% of sales from the exhibit will benefit the vital local non profit.
Be sure to make an evening of May 11th, with art openings throughout town and fine dining at every corner, there is no good reason to stay at home!
