Lily Roy (Liliya Kladkova-Roy) – Office Manager
Lily joined Five Rivers in November 2013. She has over 10 years of experience in language teaching as well as administration and customer service.
Organization and creative problem solving are some of her strongest skills in work field and life. She values the role of art in the life of the community and is herself an art lover.

Marlise Swartz, Chair
Marlise Swartz recently retired as the Director of Marketing for Thornton Oaks Retirement Community where she had worked since January 1994.
She has been editor of a weekly newspaper, a reporter/photographer for The Union Leader,(NH), and worked for a public relations and marketing firm in Portland before marketing retirement communities. Along with a resident, she initiated the popular art exhibits at Thornton Oaks which continue.
Marlise was born and raised in Missouri and graduated from Central Missouri University, where she edited the college newspaper. She taught high school journalism for three years at a 2000-student high school in Shawnee Mission, Kansas ( a Kansas City suburb).
She enjoyed a summer Wall Street Journal fellowship at the University of Minnesota. She lived in Colorado for three years and was a supervisor in the regional offices of Diners Club International prior to moving to the northeast.
She is a graduate of Leadership Maine, a year-long program of the Maine Development Foundation. Marlise was a member for several years of the Oratorio Chorale. She continues to be involved in professional and civic organizations.
Heidi Harkenrider, Treasurer/Secretary,2013 Family Arts & Sciences Festival Committee Chair
Heidi is the owner and manager of an accounting firm and has been instrumental in clarifying and updating the records and projections for all of Five Rivers’ operations.
She has a history of community service in activities with her children and even pulls lobster traps in her free time.
Hati Modr- Membership Chair
Hati Modr has a lifetime of drawing and painting and music experience.
She attended the New England Conservatory of Music. Degrees from the Baldwin School and the University of Maine refined her skills and philosophies of integrated art and years of living overseas focused her firmly in the arts.
Hati has been on the Five Rivers’ Board of Directors for over 5 years.
