2012 CALL FOR ARTISTS
Arts Are Elementary would like to invite Maine artists to submit original artwork to Brunswick’s fifth annual 10 X 10 Benefit Art Exhibit & Sale. All accepted work is priced at $200. The artist receives $100 and $100 benefits Arts Are Elementary, a local nonprofit that provides artists in residence to all Brunswick students in grades K – 5.
The 10 X 10 Benefit Art Exhibit & Sale is Friday, September 28, 2012 from 5pm-8pm. The two venues are located next door to each other at 23 and 27 Pleasant Street in Brunswick.
Application information:
Artist must be at least 18 years old.
Artist must be a full or part time resident of Maine.
Artist may submit one to three pieces.
Work must fit within a 10-inch square format and be ready to put into a 10”x10” black metal frame.
We provide the 10”x10” black metal frame, foam core and optional glass. No matting provided.
A $10.00 fee per artist must be included with application. Payment can be made by check and mailed to AAE, 10 X 10, P.O. Box 882, Brunswick, ME 04011 or online at www.10x10brunswick.org.
