ARTIST CLASSES

Contemplative Dance and Authentic Movement Classes

An improvisational movement form which requires no prior dance training, but rather a desire and willingness to explore the body’s natural impulse to move and to allow itself to be moved by the spirit.

Each session will begin with a warm-up period using Gabrielle Roth’s 5 rhythms, (aka The Wave). The opportunity for artistic expression through visual or written media follows the movement period.

SESSIONS ARE ONGOING and will be held two Saturday mornings per month from 10:00-1:00 at the Bath Dance Works, 72 Front Street, third floor, in Bath.

Participants may begin at any time. Requested donation of $15-30 per session. Please call Kay Mann at 725-9997 or email: dancingfewl@pobox.com for further information.
