Kickoff the Area Festival at the Maine Maritime Museum with:

Aoife Clancy Concert, Friday, July 13, 6pm

The 2nd Annual Saltwater Music Festival at Thomas Point Beach in Brunswick is Saturday and Sunday, July 14 & 15,

but MMM will host an opening concert at 6 p.m. the evening before featuring legendary Celtic music diva Aoife Clancy.

An Irish lass from the small town of Carrick-on-Suir, in County Tipperary, Ireland, her musical career began when her father, Bobby Clancy of the legendary Clancy Brothers, placed a guitar in her hands and, soon after, brought her to perform with him in pubs. She was a member of the acclaimed Irish American group, Cherish the Ladies, and she has been a featured soloist with the Boston Pops and Cincinnati Pops orchestras. Don’t miss her incredible performance. If you plan to attend the Saltwater Music Festival and purchase your tickets here through MMM, a portion of the price goes to support the Museum.
